Great news for schools and taxpayers. For the first time in six years, the school tax levies dropped in Wisconsin. The decline amounted to $47 million or 1 percent. This proves that our reforms from Act 10 are working. The reforms gave school districts the tools they need to balance their budgets this year and for years to come. The school tax levy report covered all 424 of Wisconsin public school districts. Read more information on the tax decrease from the Journal Sentinel.
